Every year, 3000 Israeli teenagers decide to delay their army service by one year and volunteer in different projects all over the country. Come to hear why they do it and what the impact of this amazing project is on Israeli society.

Tomer Rozenstine

Jewish Agency for Israel
Tomer is 18 and finished high school in Israel last year. He is a young shaliach for the Jewish Agency for Israel this year. Tomer took part in the Israeli scouts youth movement (Tzofim), including counselling a group of year 9s, and coordinating a troop with 450 children.

Noa Tzimer

Noa was born in Ashdod, and today she lives in Kfar Mordechai. She grew up in the Israeli Scouts youth movement. In 2013 she graduated from Brenner High School. Now Noa is spending her gap year in London, working with the Jewish and Israeli community.
