Jews have spent millennia thinking about, and responding to, suffering and much is to be gained from allowing one era to shed its light on another - this lecture aims to draws Talmudic thoughts on catastrophe into conversation with responses to the Holocaust

Joe is a modern orthodox rabbi studying at Yeshivat Har Etzion. He holds the Aria Fellowship from the Office of the Chief Rabbi (UK) and has degrees from Cambridge and UCL. He is an LSJS faculty member and teaches online classes in London and Mumbai from his home in Israel.
