How important are the settlements really?

Building in the West Bank and East Jerusalem has, in recent years, become increasingly under the spotlight. But the speed at which the settlements have grown, and what that actually means in reality in terms of a viable Palestinian state, is rarely discussed in much detail. This session will aim to demystify some of these increasingly controversial questions.

Hannah is the director, and a founder of Yachad, the pro-Israel pro-peace movement of British Jews. Hannah has a background in campaigning on a wide range of issues including climate change and the conflict in Darfur. She writes regularly in the press in the UK and Israel.
